STATE FESTIVALS

Telangana Avirbhava Dinotsavam:State formation day is celebrated on june 2nd of every year.

        On that day we hoist the flag,distribute sweets and conduct  competitions for children.We commemorate the people who strive hard for achieving seperate state .We plan for the comming academic year about enrollment,sports,academics,ssc results.

 

Preparation of Bathukamma

Bathukamma : It is celebrated by the girls decorating the goddess with flowers.

        Bathukamma is a state festival.It is Celebrated for nine days.In the year 2014 this is declared as state festival,this is also known as “Festival of Flowers”.women and girls gather different typr of flowers and decorate them.Women anf girls gather and play bathukamma moving around it singing songs about god.

Haritha haram

Haritha haram is also celebrated for a week.

       Harithaharam is done every year in the month of June and July.The governement supplies plants and sapplings.All the teachers and students take this as a mission and plant many trees.They not only plantbut also protect and take care of the plants.

Bonalu and Litrecy day are also celebrated
